LINK FM, Havering’s longest running radio station, went full time last month.
Having been awarded a permanent broadcasting licence, residents can tune in daily to 92.2FM or via linkfm.net for a whole host of interesting shows, chat and music.
LINK first launched in 1992 as a community radio station for Harold Wood. Although only available a handful of times a year, the team built a loyal army of listeners and volunteers which should continue to grow now they’re 24/7. Managing Director Dave Butler is promising a station “to the community, for the community, by the community”.
Needless to say Community Times Romford will be getting involved where possible, and many other local businesses are helping with funding and advertising.
If you’re interested in getting involved with LINK FM contact the studio on 01708 342200 or email info@linkfm.net
