  Drugs Supplier detained

On 28 February 2008 David Wilson (date of birth 18/5/71) of Eldridge Court, St Marks Place, Dagenham was Stopped by plain clothes officers in North Street Area of Romford, Wilson ran off from police and was chased and caught. A quantity of class A drugs & Cash was found on his person.  Wilson was arrested for Possession with Intent to supply class A drugs and for Money Laundering. He appeared at Snaresbrook Crown Court on the 3rd of July and once he was convicted for the offences, Havering Payback Unit began the investigation into his assets.


They considered the amount he has made from his drug dealing lifestyle over a six year period.  


This figure together with the evidence to prove this was provided to the court in a confiscation hearing on 24 October where he was sentenced to 30 months imprisonment and a confiscation order under the proceeds of Crime Act for £220,351.60
