Could YOU make a difference for the Met?
Havering police are looking for members of the public to assist in role-plays and scenario situations based locally in Havering and throughout the Met.

Volunteers have recently been involved in assisting with training of both new police officers and specialist units such are firearms, airport security and emergency planning.

Volunteers are asked to play members of the public in many different scenarios –including victims of crime, suspect, casualties and witnesses.

Volunteers should be between the ages of 18 – 80 years of age and be able to complete a short training session to provide the skills required

It is anticipated that volunteers would be asked to attend approx 5 session per year to assist with role play – however if volunteers should like to assist with other areas of policing this is always available.

If you are interested in getting involved in this opportunity – please contact Jo Hudson Met Volunteer Manager 01708 779124.

(please mention Community Times Romford when contacting Jo)
