This week sees the first ever Beer & Ale Festival at the Golden Lion pub in Romford.

Owners The Orchid Group have over 50 different bitters, ales and stouts to try from St Georges Day (23rd April) until the 1st May.

In conjunction with this, the Havering Folk Club are holding all day sessions upstairs on both Saturday and Sunday (26th and 27th). This will include performances from some regulars of the HFC as well as guests. 3pm - 11pm.

So why treat yourself to a nice ale and some quality music this week!
